The Diminishing Buzz
In unit three of my Population class, I was able to study the different types of growths that occur in mathematics and how to describe them. I also learned about how populations grow and thrive. In addition, I found several factors that can cause populations to decrease and suffer. I enjoyed this unit because I was able to practice creating graphs and able to conduct an experiment where I had to travel to a cemetery and collect data. Using that data, I was able to find out the difference between males of different decades.
For this Action Project, I was assigned to study how the growth of the human population affects other populations. I decided to choose bees as the population and found them to be very interesting creatures. I was able to compare them to humans and found that while the human population is growing, their’s is decreasing. I found that the most challenging part of this project was creating my video in a way that can be easily understood by the viewer. I was able to overcome this challenge and successfully create my video. Overall, I enjoyed this project.
